Additional Information
After I got back from 'Nam (I was a Navy River Rat) in '69 I wanted a Super Bee, but had another couple years on my hitch, I ordered a '70 while still in the service, but it was late in the year and they switched me to a '71. I drove it through college, it was even my "Field Car" when I was a Field Rep for Hunt Foods during peach and tomato harvest. I drove it steady until I got my first "company car" in '76/'77 then it went into storage. I pulled it out in about '85 and did the paint, decals, & interior. In 2015/2016 with 137k miles I overhauled the engine, bored it .30, polished/ported, pistons, cam, headers, Mopar M-1 intake, Holly 750, clutch, trans, Firm Feel suspension, steering, etc. It came with 3.91's, but since I was doing so much long driving I switch it over to 3.23's early on, now running 3.55's, but thinking of going back to the 3.23's which I still have.
When I restored it the first time, I added exhaust tips, right side mirror, 15 in. rally wheels; otherwise it's as I ordered it, except for the manifolds, carb, etc.
Right now I'm trying to figure how to shoe horn the stock air cleaner housing on top the carb and higher manifold without interfering with the hood; it seems to interfere with the choke lineage on the back side of the carb.
